Clean Cakes...

... came about because I wanted more from the ingredients I was using - more flavours, more textures, more variety. It felt like the best way to push myself to explore the full range of ingredients in my store cupboard was to cut out some of the easy go-tos that I had come to rely on. Clean Cakes was born, with no recipes using  flour, sugar, gluten or dairy. Published in early 2016, I have been bowled over by people's response to it - from those with intolerances, to those just wanting to make changes to their diet or lifestyle, it's been welcomed into the hearts and kitchens of many.
